Jarahfire specialise in Exploration and RC Grade Control. We aim to provide a focused pathway to discovery and definition of mineral resources by combining highly experienced personnel with state-of-the-art techniques and technologies in Reverse Circulation Drilling.

Jarahfire Drilling Exploration (JFX) are best known for their drill capabilities in the Goldfields and Mid West/Murchison areas. Our GM – John “Snow” Simmons grew up in Coolgardie alongside our maintenance manager Troy Higgins. Many of our employees reside in the Kalgoorlie/Boulder area and have an intimate understanding of the geology of the region.

JFX also has experience in remote Exploration drilling. Our broad resume has seen us drill in extremely remote conditions where we have the capabilities of setting up camps complete with caravans, bulk fuel tanks and satellite communications with the added logistics of equipment maintenance, freight and crew change.

Jarahfire’s policies and procedures have been developed in accordance with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s (DMIRS) Mineral Exploration Audit. This ensures compliance with the highest occupational safety and health standards associated with the management of mineral exploration, including drilling remotely and on an existing mine site.

Training has been conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) giving our drillers a nationally accredited certification in drilling.

The Company’s exploration rig fleet consists of the high capacity Schramms, Hydcos and Atlas Copco L8s. The drill rigs are fully compliant with Australian standards. Our support equipment have been designed and maintained to overcome the unique challenges presented by WA’s harsh environment and the isolated nature of new exploration projects.

We utilise the latest Metzke sampling systems that are adaptable to suit your project’s needs including the fix cone and rotation cone splitter to ensure JORC requirements are met.

With our yard located in Kalgoorlie we offer quick maintenance support to our equipment and staff.
