Exploration Drilling
Jarahfire Drilling Exploration (JFX) is known for delivering dependable drilling services across the Goldfields and Mid West/Murchison regions of Western Australia. Our managers — along with many of our team members — grew up in and continue to live in the Kalgoorlie–Boulder region, giving us a deep understanding of local geology and project demands.
We also have extensive experience in remote exploration drilling, including full support for isolated sites. Our team is equipped to establish self-sufficient mobile camps, complete with bulk fuel storage, caravans, satellite communications, and on-site maintenance and logistics.
Our procedures are aligned with the DMIRS Mineral Exploration Audit and supported by our certifications in ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management). This ensures every project is delivered to the highest safety, environmental, and quality standards.
All drillers are trained through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and hold nationally recognised qualifications, ensuring consistency and professionalism on every job.
Our fleet includes high-capacity Schramm, Hydco, and Atlas Copco L8 rigs, supported by purpose-built equipment maintained to Australian standards and suited for WA’s harsh conditions.
We also utilise advanced Metzke sampling systems — including fixed and rotating cone splitters — to ensure accurate, JORC-compliant results.
With our base in Kalgoorlie, we provide fast, localised support and responsive maintenance.
